Norwich Union Direct van insurance is available for vans pick-up trucks, and for both private individuals and company vehicles. Please select the cover below which most suits your needs:

To save you time we base your quote on some assumptions, please confirm that you meet these criteria:

• You (or your company) own no more than four vans
• Your van is registered and kept in Great Britain, Isle of Man, and Channel Isles only
• You (or your company) are the registered owner of the vehicle you wish to insure
• You and your drivers must hold a current, valid, full or provisional UK driving licence (UK or EU)
• You and your drivers have advised the DVLA of any notifiable illness or disability and they have agreed to the issue of a licence
• You and your drivers are under 70 years of age
• No driver has had any criminal convictions, been previously refused insurance or had any terms imposed
• No driver has had more than 2 losses or claims in the past 4 years
• You or your drivers do not have more than 2 motoring convictions (including fixed penalties) in the last 5 years, or been disqualified from driving in the past 5 years
• No driver of your vehicle has one of these occupationstaxi driver, professional sports person, scrap metal dealer, waste dealer, market or street trader, or anyone connected with the entertainment industry
• Your van is not valued at more than £35,000, if comprehensive cover is required, or £15,000 if Third Party Fire and theft cover required
• Your van is not modified (other than solely to cater for any physical disability), or over 30 years old
• Your van must be full UK specification (including imported vehicles)
• Your van weighs less than 3.5 tonnes
• Your van will be driven less than 150,000 miles per year
• Your vehicle has one of these body types : car derived vans, panel vans, pick ups, box vans, tipper/dropside, luton and a range of other vehicles
• Your vehicle is not a minibus
• Your van has no more than 3 seats, unless it is a crewcab or double cab pick-up
• If the vehicle is used to carry hazardous goods, it carries less than 10kg bottled gas, or 10 litres of flammable solvents, in one container
• Your van/pick-up does not visit, is used at, or driven at any hazardous locationPower stations, nuclear installations or establishments. Refineries, bulk storage or production premises in the oil, gas or chemical industries. Bulk or production premises in the explosive ammunition or pyrotechnic industries. Ministry of defence premises or military bases.
